"It's so hard to feel relaxed in front of the camera—I’m always worried I won’t look good in photos."
Are you nervous about being in front of the camera on your wedding day? I totally get it!
Being the center of attention isn’t always the easiest thing. But your wedding day is all about you two, so it’s important to find a way to relax and enjoy the moment, don’t you think?
Maybe you’ve grown up with a certain image of what couples should look like on their big day, or—like me—you’ve spent hours scrolling through Pinterest. Those couples who look so effortlessly beautiful and blissful in every shot, like something out of a movie. The bride radiating confidence, every smile perfectly captured, no hint of nerves or uncertainty. Total Vogue vibes! Or maybe you’re drawn to those laid-back, natural poses where everything feels carefree and unposed.
And then reality hits—like when you look at the latest couple’s photo your mom snapped of you two at the last family gathering, and suddenly, being comfortable in front of the camera doesn’t seem so easy after all. Sound familiar?
Here’s the thing: I want to erase those thoughts you have about not being “good enough” in photos. Because you are enough—more than enough. Your wedding isn’t about looking like a Vogue model (though, hey, no complaints if you do!). It’s about love, pure and simple. And that’s what I’m here to capture—the looks, the smiles, the quiet moments you share with your partner. That’s all that really matters.
MY EXPERTISE – YOUR EXPERIENCE
Testimonial
From start to finish, working with Stella was an absolute JOY. She responded quickly to emails and asked all the right questions to ensure we got the wedding photos we dreamed of. She arrived at the venue a few hours early to scout the best spots for photos and came fully prepared.
When we started, everything felt so organized and professional. Neither my husband nor I had ever been in front of a camera before, but Stella made us both feel completely at ease. She captured SUCH beautiful photos without ever being intrusive and planned the photography so we could spend as much time as possible with our guests.
We received the photos on the agreed date, plus a few earlier ones to share with family and friends. Even after the wedding, if we wanted a photo in black and white or had other requests, she was incredible at accommodating them.
I can’t recommend Youtifulpictures enough if you’re looking for a photographer!

How could a wedding day look?
Getting ready
No matter if you are getting ready at home or at a fancy hotel room I capture the first moment of your magical wedding day. Every detail, from laughter to tears.
First look
First look is something you could have with both partner or other people who's reaction would be important to you. You parents, friends etc. This is a super beautiful intimate moment to capture.
The cermony
It isn't really a wedding day without the cermony now is it? I am used to capturing this in all sorts of locations. Church, outdoors, resturant - you name it! I make sure to capture you and your guests.
Wedding portraits
No matter what package you choose, I truly recomend you to include this portrait session. You don't have to have any experience of being in front of the camera or be the most comfortable in normal instanses. I will make sure you feel beautiful and have fun moment infront of my camera!
MIngle
In addition to me walking around capturing all the guests and genuine moments. These types of photos could be captured here:
Group photos, Cake cutting & wedding toast.
Dinner
Here, I usually shoot a little less often. I am of course nearby to photograph speakers, reactions and food.
Golden hour /Eveningshoot
There are many beautiful moments to capture in pictures during the day, but this is clearly my favorite. You are more relaxed and the light is absolutely perfect! Bonus: you get to go away and breathe a little.
Party
The party is the moment when everyone really lets loose. Super fun to capture in a picture. Otherwise, you can catch the first dance or the "Father/Daughter" dance here
It's YOUR wedding day - Therefore there are no wrongs
However you choose to plan your day, it's right, FOR YOU. As a planning wedding couple, it can be a real jungle trying to figure out how to plan the day so that it flows as well as possible and generates great memories, for both you and your guests. As a wedding photographer, I have a few tips and tricks that I am happy to share with you to help a little along the way.
Tip 1: Always remember that everything takes longer than you think. It is common for newlyweds to be very optimistic because they want to fit as much as possible. This will only make you feel stressed all day. By having extra time, you will be able to relax and rather get a feeling that everything is flowing.
Tip 2: Don't forget to schedule lunch. You will keep going all day and probably well into the night. Even if you who are getting married may feel that eating is the last thing you want to do, it is important to put in a break so that at least your bridal party has the opportunity to eat. You might just be able to eat a banana, and that's totally fine, but you also have the option of just breathing.
Tip 3: Although rice is perhaps the most traditional thing to throw at the bride and groom when the wedding cermony is over, rose petals are so much nicer in a picture! It also doesn't hurt. So instead of hiding in pain, you will look up to see the beautiful flower petals raining down on you. Totally amazing!
Tip 4: Plan the portrait session AFTER the cermony. The vast majority of brides and grooms I meet are very tense before the wedding. This means that there is a risk that you will get a bad feeling from the portrait photography, and we want you to have fun! It can also make you look stressed and tense in the pictures, and we don't want that! First look is a great option if you want to be photographed a bit beforehand. If it feels difficult to leave the guests "on their own", I can give some tips on activities that they can do while you are away. The atmosphere is usually even nicer when the guests have had the chance to miss the bride and groom a little.
Tip 5: It's hard to know if it will be golden hour or not, but I recommend regardless of booking 15-30 minutes of evening photography. If it's not sunny, we can take nice pictures in the soft evening light, but the most important thing is that you can have an intimate moment away from the party and all the guests and just breathe.
Tip 6: This is a fun trend that you can do instead of the usual group portraits if, for example, you think they are just stiff and boring. Or you make these as a bonus in addition to the usual ones. During dinner or just in time for dessert, the bride and groom sit on two chairs in the middle of the room or in another easily accessible place. A song is started, during this song all the tables must come forward and pose with the wedding couple. Have a toastmaster who informs which table will go and who keeps time. It should be fast, intense and really fun.
Tip 8: In Sweden, it is not as common to make self-written vows to each other during the wedding cermony. A hot tip for nice memories and nice pictures (also very nice on video), is to write a letter to each other. Either with vows or just a few words you want to say to your sweetheart. Which you then read before everything starts. You can read them alone or with each other before you see the other at first look if you are going to have one. Super emotional and nice!
Tip 7: Funny pictures from the party. Besides it being fun to capture everyone's best dance moves and head ties, this trend is a big favorite of mine. A pair of white sunglasses that say "Mr & Mrs" with white text on them are passed around on the dance floor where you can pose in front of the camera. Super fun and makes sure that all the guests end up in a picture. If you want, you can make it a competition where the best pose wins something.
In conclusion: Dear to let go, be a little bit crazy, stick out your tounges to each other. Hug alot, and let your whole being be filled with laughter!
